Im running MP 0.2.2 (+today SVN) and had same issue with my nVIDIA 7600GS (512MB) under 91.47 drivers for Win MCE. I changed the AA settings to 8xS and the problem is gone. But i had to decrease resolution because some TV streams became sutter in full screen :/.
But for this issue i can say that this setting fixed it.

Thanx for it PD ;)

Should not effect any codec's, that may be another issue altogether, + noticed today's svn causing me a TV problem as well, so reverting back, just to make sure no ill effects of what has been done with the graphics card.

It has not affect any codec - its same on any codec I tried (Pure, WinDVD, CyberLink...). But what is more weird is that it affect just some TV streams - not all. The screen sutter just in fullscreen and its like you play new game on old GFX - 5 sec. ok, then 1 sec. sutter (freeze and jump) and again ....
Tried different SVNs but I will try it also without MP to see if its caused by heavy load on GPU or by something in MP.

What I found out now, is that this bug depends on the selected video codec in the TV settings.
If I use the dscaler codec, this strange bug never appears for me. I tried the nvidia codec and the bug was there...
So I'll stick with the dscaler video codec for now.

I also figured out that it depends on the codec. But with nVIDIA PV it also works when i set in nVIDIA control panel AA (antialias) just to 4x.

Try adjusting AGP speed if you have problems, I was getting wierd corruption under MP with my GF5200. I turned down my AGP speed in the BIOS from 8x to 4x and havent seen this problem since!

Whatever works for you, is always fine.

At least we can definately nail it down mainly to the nvidia drivers, or the control of.
