I have a couple of problems with the MP client (Versions of 2nd February). Most of them have been listed here already (ultra long time between selecting a channel and actual playback (30 seconds), switching a channel always crashes the client, playback freezes after a second of playback, turning to a different channel sometimes shows timeshift of the previous channel etc). As others had the same problems, I guess it will be solved some time. However, I have something strange that has not been mentioned before:
In general, playing a stream in the preview window (the screen with the ordinary tv controls) I get only about 5 frames per second. In fullscreen window (after tapping on the preview window), the playback is smooth (however, trying to come back to the previous window crashes my client then
). Of course I thought it is something with the capabilities of my graphics card or the like. However, playing back the stream in VLC is always smooth, no matter which zoom I use. So what can be the reason that playback in the preview window is stuttering while fullscreen works well?
