I am having problems with stream rejected issues see latest log file.

Before I moved house I was using DVB-t very successfully. Now I have moved I no longer have access to DVB-T and have moved to DVB-s using a tbs 6984 card. 50% of the time it is working fine but then the other 50% is failing due to "stream rejected". It is tuning to astra 28.2e and when working has a perfect picture.

So is this due to poor signal? or is there some other issue with card drivers or something? Any help would be appreciated

    Hi ARH

What exactly makes you think the problem is related to the stream rejection messages? Those are 100% normal - it is just TsWriter ignoring various data streams (ie. not video, audio, subtitles, or teletext) that are not considered relevant for viewing or recording a channel.
I suggest you provide full logs and describe the problem in full...

    Hi

I thought it was stream rejected as it looked like a problem, nether really had any issues before so not looked at logs.

Anyhow since changing to the new DVB-s card (TBS 6894) I have experienced live tv just stopping randomly, there seems to be no pattern. I use one TV server and 2 clients. Some recordings work perfectly and some stop half way through, Although Media portal always reports them as complete time wise. They can stop at anytime no pattern as far as I can see. From a gut feeling it appears to be a problem with the tv card. but I am no expert.

Here are the full logs if you need any other info let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi again

    Thanks for the logs. :)
How are you splitting the signal to the 4 tuners?
Have you disabled the WMC services in the 3rd party checks section of TV Server configuration?
Do you have any other software installed that might potentially use the tuners?

    Hi

The signal is fed by 4 separate cables from a quad lnb
    WMC services are disabled
As far as I know no other software is using the cards.
