Streamed MP Replacement Logo Pack (1 Viewer)

I love the STREAMED MP skin but have always thought the logos (audio, video, misc) were a bit subtle and generic and I have always wanted a little snappier images. So I set out to create some. They are the same size and same basic idea as the originals but I used a higher contrast and actual codec logos and such to create them. Just replace the folders in your StreamedMP/Media/Logos folder with whats in the archive... I WOULD BACK UP THE ORIGINALS FIRST (just in case you don't like mine and want to switch back). I have only tested this on StreamedMP-1.7.4.3031 and MediaPortal 1.2.1 running on Windows 7. I am not sure the differences of previous versions of Streamed MP compared to this one. So, again, back up the originals so you don't get mad at me for messing you up. Although, if you get it messed up, just delete the folders and run the StreamedMP install again as a REPAIR and it will put them back to the originals again... just FYI.

ALSO... there is another version a few posts down that is less contrast using grey instead of white. Might blend better with the skin, actually. Thanks ltfearme for the suggestion on that.

Thanks for making it easy for everyone to install, Just a replacement of the logos is best way like you did so there is no need to mess with logo rules and xml files.

Also good work!

This makes it very easy for us to make a GUI option to toggle between the two logo styles (Textual / Graphical).

donzella, have you tried using a grey color instead of white...I have a tinkling that it might suit the skin better.

I could be completely wrong ofc.

Actually I did try a grey briefly in the beginning. The white does stand out a little compared to the rest of the skin and could probably be toned down. I like the contrast but I'll see if bring the white back a little makes it blend a little more. Thanks for the feedback.

Streamed MP Replacement Logo Pack - GREY

I took all the white and changed it to a 20% grey for this set. Other than the grey, it is identical to the other. I tested them on my system and I think I like them better than the white... Damien was right.
