Glad it worked for you, my tuner is a USB variety, nearly 5m away from the computer box, so sadly no go for me

So if u have 5 mtrs of USB cable, couldn't that be the problem? I never got my Nova TD work with that long cable...

Just a thought.

Well I guess it could be, but wasn't prior to RC2.

The TV Card is plugged in to a powered USB hub, and works perfectly under RC1

5m USB is according to USB-Specification.

yeah thats right, but my cable did not work. so it might be worth checking a "better" or shorter cable if u have problems.

Is there any developer still looking at this issue? I still have very bad stuttering with server-client configuration. However, with the same TV card and computer on a single seat installation, the TV is very smooth with no visible pixelation.
Hope someone can fix it.

I have the same problem as you guys, recently upgraded from win xp to vista and now tv is unwatchable.
The stuttering is extreme now for some reason and I cannot figure out why.

Same errors as you previously described. There is no problem with my signal though, since it worked before the upgrade.

Hi, I have this same problem. There is only so much you can do for signal strength. Nearest transmitter is almost 25km away.

Isn't there anything you (developers) can do to patch up even some releases for us suckers. Cause now we have to stick with RC1 and for what I've read on this chain, there's no light at end of tunnel as for Final Release.

Can I somehow use older TsWriter/TsReader ? Is it even the answer to this prob?

I would definitely prefer pixelation over Non-Picture. Can I please choose the pixels...

To prevent stuttering: no, problem exists here with XP SP2 and SP3

Reverting to XP is not going to help. Only one of the following:

1) use older MP version that doesnt have stricter bad packet dropping policy in TsReader.ax
2) Wait until 1.0 is out and then use SVN version that will allow to change the TsReader behaviour (as its too risky at this stage to introduce any settings for TsReader, since there arent currenly none).
