Stuttering picture when connecting client (1 Viewer)

I have managed to scan the channels and server is up and running. I am running the client on the same machine as the server. The problem is that I can only connect to the server and watch tv about one of five times when I activate tv in the client. When it actually works the picture is stuttering badly.

The EPG is properly read but the times when I get picture it is impossible to change the channels. The server reacts and indicates that the channel has been switched but the old channel is still displaying in the client. I have tried to record from the server but that leaves me with a file called something like this Channel 4_manual_200610251956p565.mpg with a file size of 0 bytes.

The tv.log is filled witth messages like this:

It would be interesting to know if someone else using Firedtv-T has got the server and client connection to work properly? I forgot to mention that the card was working perfectly using the integrated tv solution in Mediaportal. I have updated the firmware to 1.2.1 for the firedtv card. I think that made things worse, now I cannot even get the epg any more. I am not using CI interface and cam.

Maybe that is why i get the messages in the tv log.

I have updated to version tvengine3-10-27-2006--20-11h--Rev11369 of the tv server but still the same problem and just like some other people I get the firedtv box to show up as an analogue tv card. This changes when the tv service is restarted.

Are there any actions i need to take before getting this to work properly on MCE, disabling some services or likewise?

Any thought on this?

Update:
I found my old via access redcam and put it in the CI slot of the firedtv box. Things are starting to work. Mediaportal can connect to the server and the error messages are gone from the log. This is probably a bug to look in to, you should be able to use the firedtv box without a CI.

Recording are now working. I downgraded the firmware to 1.2.0 but can still not get the epg on the client.
