I have managed to scan the channels and server is up and running. I am running the client on the same machine as the server. The problem is that I can only connect to the server and watch tv about one of five times when I activate tv in the client. When it actually works the picture is stuttering badly.
The EPG is properly read but the times when I get picture it is impossible to change the channels. The server reacts and indicates that the channel has been switched but the old channel is still displaying in the client. I have tried to record from the server but that leaves me with a file called something like this Channel 4_manual_200610251956p565.mpg with a file size of 0 bytes.
The tv.log is filled witth messages like this:
