Stuttering with Live-TV (German ProSiebenSat.1 Group) (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have a big problem with Live-TV and the German ProSieben.SAT1 Group.
Live-TV is stuttering very heavy with all channels of this group. RTL, ARD, and all other channels i use all the day are played perfect. The problem exists for around a week now. I had it in the past too, but after some days it disappeared. Now it is back again.

The signal strength is very good, and the CPU load is lower than 10%.
While playing a channel of this group, the following errors are written to the ts-reader.log:

The codec does not matter: LAV Video Decoder, Microsoft DTV or ffdshow... it is stuttering with all of them, even when Microsofts seems to be a little bit better.

The problem does NOT exist with my standalone satellite receiver (DBox 2 with Linux Neutrino Image)!

Hi Klez,

I have a similar problem which I still can't solve but I did find that if I reduce my display resolution to 1024 x 768 then the stuttering stops. Of course this is not very helpful if you're watching HD but maybe it helps for SD.

Hi there,

Please post full logs/config.

You have corruption somewhere...we need to identify if its at source (eg tswriter logs), or client (tsreader logs)

I have a similar problem :

Recorderid 401 Continuity error... 1 ( prev 7 ) - bad signal?

To the point that my log files reach a 1gb size, so I had to delete them to enable the logs to be uploade. Please let me know if I have a corruption.

No not fixed, actually the TV Server log file acutally increases to 400mb. Need to figure out what this is.

Can you delete all MP logs (MP + TV Server), try to record or watch problematic channel and post all logs? When discontinuities are in TsWriter.log then problem is on server side. Mostly bad signal is problem.

So please try to fix this issue first, because maybe your client has problems because it is just flushing your logs!

Hello,

A long time all was working flawlessly, but today the "old" Problem with ProSiebenSAT1 raised up again...
In the meantime i am using Mediaportal 1.3.0 RC. It was all working ok, until yesterday... I haven't changed any settings.

I guess, that the TV-Signal from proSieben "changed" in some "bad" way, so the TV-Server has real problems with it.
The problem is, that it still works with every other receiver in our house (3 different DVB-S2 Receivers).
