I have the exact same problem.
I`m trying to use cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder (PDVD7.x) with HW accelration for my HD2600 Pro card.
When i Use ffdshow it works, but no hw accelration. Anybody know how to convert such a file to .ts so I the Cyberlink decoder knows how to process it?

You can add ffdshow raw video decoder at Movie Postprocessing. External subtitles will be automatically displayed, embedded can be selected from within the MediaPortal context menu. You can still use any other video decoder such as CoreAVC. ffdshow will just do the postprocessing. I'm not sure about what happens with hardware acceleration though...
I have only just got this error.. never seen it before with MKV files. Any suggestions?

It appears that MP somehow caches previously used subtitle files for subsequent use next time the same video is played. My problem...
I agree about the dash instead of colon on the LIVE thing.
