I also am not possible to set any subtitles? Is this a plugin or a standard setting? Can't get it to work.

So is subtitles working in mp2 or not? Or just the external not working? Not much answers to find on the forum...
Found that I can set subtitles using the mouse. But when I choose the right one it's not showing on my screen. Weird. Any ideas?
Sorry, I never use subtitles and therefore have no clue about that... @morpheus_xx can you help?

It appears that MP somehow caches previously used subtitle files for subsequent use next time the same video is played. My problem...
The only configuration that is certain to work is when the MP client and MP server are from the same release.
It is sometimes possible to use MP clients from a release that is different to the MP server, but whether it works depends on the specific changes that were made between the two releases.
