If you have ffdshow installed you can add ffdshow raw filter to Movie Post processing in MediaPortal Configuration. Then be sure to have a subtitle file in the same folder as the video file. When playing the video in MP you should see the ffdshow notification area icon. Right click it and enable Subtitles.
