no idea if this has been proposed before.

it would be cool if mov pics was able to copy any movie (+subs etc) to root of a drive (any drive).
maybe implement it as a new item in the movie submenu ("send to ..").

I have some friends over.. "hey can I get that copied over to my usb-stick.".
"shure mate.. plug it in"

This would be neat for my backup system which I can then move off once I watch it to my USB HDD Dock. If the drive is offline it could be prompted to be inserted or scheduled to run later when it is online.

Yes, can be useful for the backup system. For that reason, I will not always want it to go to root. If possible, one can maybe define one or two custom locations in advanced settings which will be added to the list of drives?
