You can add streams yourself in the plugin configuration.

I've tried adding them myself but upon opening them in OnlineVideos I get an error 'unable to open video - no url'

Mind giving me a push in the right direction?

Maybe the asx has some strange streams inside them. You can force WindowsMediaPlayer on your site but you have to edit that in the OnlinevideoSites.xml
Example:

<Site name="MusicTelevision" util="GenericSite" agecheck="false" enabled="true" player="WMP">

So just add the player="WMP" attribute to the xml of your site and please try again.
