Thanks for your quick response, and sorry for the long delay in mine. Unfortunately, there isn't much to report.
BTW, RDP is Windows Remote Desktop Protocol. It is a popular way to perform maintenance and other administrative tasks on a Windows HTPC without interfering with the normal user interface. It has been successively crippled by MS in newer (non-Server) Windows versions and updates, necessitating patching or the use of RDPwrap. For this and other reasons, I would more likely migrate to Windows Server than Windows 10 when and if I can bring myself to invest the time and money ;-)
The HID Demo program reported the opposite:Found the answer in the MP1 code base:
Vendor ID: 0x1509
Product ID: 0x925d
Vendor ID: 0x925d
Product ID:0x1509
Product ID:0x1509
I unpacked all contents of the zip file to a new directory and executed MiniDisplayDemo.exe (all local, no RDP). The result was an immediate crash. I have attached the text from the details pane of the error dialog.I've attached a ZIP file containing an executable. You should be able to use it to test basic functions of your display.
- Unzip archive.
- Launch MiniDisplayDemo.exe
- Click open - see if that works.
