supported card for mptv (1 Viewer)

    Leadtek used to give us loads of grief, mainly because there were so many models of the same card made by different company's using different drivers :mad:

    Personally would say a Hauppauge 2200 is more useful, as can be either 2 x dvb-t, 2 x Analogue or 1 dvb-t and 1 analogue and the drivers are working fine with MP.

    one more question that came up when talking to a friend about this card

    does it support mpeg4??

    currently in my country the begun broadcasting in hd in mpeg4 encoding

    will this card support it?

    The card doesn't have to do anything different for MPEG-4 video streams vs. MPEG-2 video streams, the data is simply handed over to whatever application is actually playing them.

    So the card doesn't need to support it, MediaPortal needs to support it... which is does :)
