I have noticed that when I run the SVN Installer and select the option to create a backup of my current MediaPortal folder, that the backup is duplicated.

For example, if I nominate that the backup should be copied to the folder "MP backup", then the first pass of the backup will be copied to the folder "MP backup\config" and then the Installer will do a second pass, this time copying the backup to "MP backup".

So, I end up with 2 backup copies - one in the folder "MP backup" and another in the folder "MPbackup\config" .... hence the "backup within a backup" ...

thx Taipan, thats a side effect from the new vista-config folder when you use XP. Will rewrite some parts the next days (ok, to be honest I planned that for nearly 2 months now but the time...) where it detect XP or vista automatically.

You can delete the /config-folder if you like, its not needed on XP-Systems.
