Well there' s (in my humble opinion) a much simpler way to do this, in mediaportal setup/general/keys and sound you can select at specifik button, and then define an action, such as subtitle delay minus og plus..

Sure it's better, but at the time of posting this, that wasn't possible yet. It's what I do now, of course.

I have always used the subtitle menu to while watching a video to adjust the subtitles I had never even considered configuring the adjustment to remote buttons. When I get home tonight I am going to have a play with this (and anything else I can think would be made easier).
