Steps to reproduce:
1. start computer (TV-service + client).
2. Watch TV and/or prerecorded TV.
3. After 1-2h the remote stops working.
4. The TV-show/recording is continuing to show.

The power-button on the remote is working (shutdown), but not any other commands.
The keyboard can't be used to control MP.
The keyboard can be used to use Task Manager to kill MP-application "Fullscreen TV".
In order to get things working, a full system reboot is required.

This was not an issue when running MP 1.1.2 on the exact same cumputerhardware.

Attached logfiles generated by "debug-mode".

You are using MDAPI which is not going to help with support.....
Also these logs are not useful as they do include the time when you had the issue.

If this happens again then after you end task MP go to the debug mode and choose collect all existing logs and attach those. I would however try and reproduce this without using MDAPI else support might be limited

    Ok, I'll create new logs..

I thought I created the logs correctly, by using the "debug-mode".
    Removed the old logs above..

Right tool, wrong option. Choose the third one as the top one will start mp and start logging from that point onwards.

    New logs supplied.

I guess the next step is to preform a clean installation of Windows.
This time Win 7 instead of Vista..

Your logs are incredibly long (makes it hard to see anything) but there is very little information about the remote in there. Please delete all your logs, enable "extended logging" for the remote, reproduce the problem, and then post new logs. It would also help if you told us the *date and time* when you test the remote and it fails...

Ok I'll try to do that.
However, I don't think my error is visable in the logs (expt. Application Hang...).

From this, the remote and the keyboard BOTH stop working, so I would guess this has nothing at all to do with the remote. You could try reproducing this with the remote completely disconnected, or at least not enabled in MediaPortal.

Very often I have found that when MediaPortal hangs while playing fullscreen video, the video continues. Thankfully this has not happened for a while for me.

So, I think this is basically a crash. I would start playing a video, and bring up the OSD every once in a while to keep track of whether MP is responding. If you do this every 5 minutes, it will be easier to work out which section of the logs show the hang (assuming anything is logged at all).
