TBS 6984 Can't use more than 1 tuner (3 Viewers)

Check you are on latest drivers (2.0.1.5 I believe), I have had issues with previous drivers with 1 of the tuners dropping out when a record happens or second tuner kicks in

Check you have a signal on both tuners

updated to the one above which shows in device manager as april 2011, i was running one from 2010.

However, after a restart i now have no signal on both tuners :s in manual control, they are sitting idle but display no signal !!!

Did you install over the top when updating, my cards didn't update properly

Uninstall driver, reboot
Don't install driver

Check in device manager, see if it has loaded an old driver, if it has delete/uninstall driver from device manager

Reboot and check if it has found driver, if it hasn't got a driver installed - install the 2.0.1.5 driver and see if that sorts it out.

I was having tv issues until I was running the latest driver (I have a 6981 btw).

Followed what you suggested, on restarting, it found a driver which was the one from april 2011 which on the TBS website is advertised as the one you suggested 2.0.1.5.

I did a system restore back to 1.3.0 (June 2010) and low and behold i started it up and it worked fine. Lets me record C4 HD and watch ITV HD and other channels and also works the other way round.

The only issue i found thus far is that BBC and BBC ONE HD will not timeshift. I get the no free card message.
