    Hi,

update and logs in post #3
update and solution in post #4

I was wondering if anyone has already tried using the new skystar hd with the new tvengine.
If so, does it work with dvb-s and dvb-s2?

The card is, considering the hardware, the same as the technotrend s2-3200
    which is supported.

Today I got my skystar hd,
by now the card is not recognized by the tvserver.

I will post further information/logs the following weekend
as I have to take on an exam this Fr.

    edit:

tried it with technotrend driver and software,
the card is now recognized as technotrend s2 3200 by Win and MpServer.
trying to access the card via mp or the original software forces the pc to reboot :(

    Hi

with a fresh install and different pci slot the card is finally working with the original software and drivers.

    MP Version:

    MP: 0.2.2.0
    SVN: Rev 12880
    TvEngine: Rev 12886

    Status:

Within MP the card is again recognized as technotrend s2 3200 and
dvb-s2 channels can be found while scanning:

    MP.JPG

However I can't tune dvb-s2 channels (not in MP and not in MpServerConfig),
the given error is "Can't start timeshift. Unknown error".
Dvb-s channels can be found und tuned properly.

    Logs:

    tvserver error log:

    tvserver tv log:
    http://pastebin.com/877455

As pastebin is pretty slow right now,
I've attached the logs as well.

Seems like the problem was caused by a wrong decoder setting.

with video decoder set to "Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder"
and audio decoder set to "MPA Decoder Filter"
dvb-s2 channels can be tuned flawlessly
