Hi there.My problem is with the tvengine3 and skystar 2 2.6c in Vista.I install MS SQL componants and media portal 0.2.3 , and latest svn tvengine and mediaportal.Then I start tv server config, first config windows pops up to login to sa database, it connects.But when I open tv server, it DOES NOT see my SS2 card neither with WDM nor with BDA driver 4.4.1. I see in forums that SS2 is supported both with WDM and BDA in TVserver3.

Is there anyone who can tell me that what I am doing wrong?

If you use the WDM driver also run the Skystar "setup" program. I'm not sure what it adds to your system but it's enough to make Media Portal work.

The error log is attached.One more thing i want to add is that,when i setup sql server 2005, i have to make a reinstall and add sqlexpress instance to make database work.also attached is a screenshot for tv server.i use turkish vista ultimate 32 bits.

I have also tried it with MYSQL , tvserver screen shows up but my SS2 card with WDM drivers is NOT enumerated under tv cards.I have already removed any cards from media portal.I am starting to think that this is an issue with Turkish windows.I am really eager to setup tvserver and use it with even Mediaportal and Windows MCE with a plugin but I had never been able to see my ss2 being recognized.The card works very well with mediaportal itself and any other dvbsoftware.

Please someone advise me what to do.
