Teletext subtitles is "slow" (1 Viewer)

An additional comment after more testing...

If you want to see the sub-titles in MP then you need to configure MP to show them.
Configuration is here:

Tick "enable teletext subtitles" and ensure that the languages you or your wife will use (eg. Swedish - swe) are configured as preferred languages.
After applying that configuration you should be able to select "subtitles" in the TV context menu:

After selecting the appropriate page number (eg. 199) you should see subtitles:

The subtitles for recorded TV seem to update properly. Only the subtitles for live TV seem to be slow...

Great that you found problem!
I just tried VLC and it worked not to well. I watched the recording I sent to you, and it showed some text, but not in the speed/quality im used to(WMC).
I belive the bug you found will do the trick, and we will wait for it.
Please let me know the status and/or "bugnumber", so I can follow the status.

I tried VLC and it work fine, forget my last post.
I also tried to Watch recordings and used "action" to activate tele text(I learned something new), and I agree with you. It works properly on the recordings.
Its the live TV stream that is to slow.

Its the live TV stream that is to slow.

After more testing, I confirmed the "action way" can also be used for live TV. I think the way that you (and I) were using previously is only intended for viewing Teletext pages (ie. news, sports etc.) and not subtitles. It is just a bit confusing because you can view the subtitles that way too.

So, I'm not sure if there is a problem after all...
