If you have terratec tuner, and want to use Windows Media Center, use this driver:

For MediaPortal (PBDA disabled):

If you install mediaportal driver, then you have problems with dvbviewer, dvbdream, etc.

If you love mediaportal and want to use all the time, and do not want to use another dvb appl, use mediaportal driver.
With this mediaportal driver, i have 2-4 sec on all channels regarding channel switch time, wich is very good
On dvbviewer i have 1-2 seconds on all channels, with qam set to 64, or 256, not on AUTO.

I tried to install MediaPortal, but I have trouble with TV server configuration, setup database connection. I don't know hostname, with localhost I receive error "Please specify a valid hostname or IP address for the server".

Hi Laur70

Host name is the name of the computer that you're installing the TV Server onto. This page -->here<-- tells you how to find it. We'd also recommend that you use a static IP address if you will use hibernate/standby + resume. You can Google for instructions for setting that up on your operating system.
