OK. I uninstall MP and I use only Dvbviewer and Terratec Home Cinema. On Dvbviewer signal is 0% and on THC is "Bad or not signal".

My problem solved. Today I tried Dvbviewer and I can see all DVB-C channel, signal 100%. I do nothing with my tuner and I think was a problem with my signal from cable provider.

Let's explain something regarding empia chipsets tuners.( MSI DIGIVOX, Haupphauge hvr930c,hvr9XX, Terratec H5, H6,Cinergy, Sundtek, Pinnacle etc)
When MODULATION in an dvb application is set to AUTO( example Dvbviewer) this tuner change channels in 2-5sec on SD( same transponder) and 6-10sec on HD , and sometimes in 30sec like in latest dvbviewer 4.8.
I guess that for this chipset it last a lot to change from 64 to 256 qam or viceversa( like 3-10seconds).
BUT If modulation is set to 64, or 256, or whatever you have, then channel change is fast, like <2sec on SD, HD, SD to HD, different transponders.
In Dvbviewer you need to go to channel editor, choose an channel in the left, then in the right set your real qam modulation( NOT LEAVE TO AUTO), and click apply for every channel , then move to another channel.

In Dvbdream,DVBlink+MCE, Progdvb channel switch is fast, meaning they do not leave modulation to AUTO i guess.
In Mediaportal, channel switch is slow, like 4-10seconds....How can i modify modulation from AUTO to manual( 64,256) in Mediaportal for every channel in part?
Could i?

And also, if any of EMPIA users want to use mediacenter on dvbc, dvbt, analog, now there are an solution without using Dvblink, install this driver Sundtek Drivers ( scroll down to latest), you have here linux driver, windows driver that enable dvbc in mediacenter.

    Hi reeven

    Thanks for the information! :D

How can i modify modulation from AUTO to manual( 64,256) in Mediaportal for every channel in part?
You would have to edit the tuning detail for each channel (use the "edit" button in the "TV Channels" section of TV Server configuration, select the tuning detail, click "edit" select the correct modulation, click OK, click OK... for each channel), change the mux list (in either C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbc or C:\ProgramData\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbc - hidden folders... set the values for your location to Mod64Qam or Mod256Qam) and rescan, or write a database script to update the database.

    Thank you mm1352000 .

ANd here is the original empia driver that is generic, for all empia tuners http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/drivers/IC_drivers/2010VIDEO/BDA_UAC_WHQL_082010_Setup.rar

Work on terratec, sundtek, pinnacle, haupphauge, msi, etc.

Regarding sundtek, latest driver is not signed, you need to press F8 at pc boot is you are on 64 bit, or use an older driver from sundtek.

What is curios is that empia do not release linux driver, but still sundtek they manage to release an linux driver....

In teammediaportal latest, v1.2.0 oficial, i install this driver:
http://www.sundtek.de/media/sundtek_driver_windows_110901.rar ( is workin on mediacenter win7, dvbviewer, mediaportal).
And at scan, i choose manual scan, and set my frequency with their good modulation, instead of auto.
Example: i know all my frequency, i choose 314000, and qam 64 for example, not AUTO modulation.
Scan my channels, and now i have 2-4 seconds when i zapping my channels.

So this is okay, or just as slow as with AUTO?

My problem wasn't solved. My tuner work only the day which I post the message. After that, signal 0% and nothing .... But the led is light all the time (from PC start to PC shutdown). I tried to reinstall driver, nothing. Any idea or my tuner is bad?

    Hi Laur70

Please post logs to get help with problems like this. Use the watchdog with option 3 - *very* easy.

    1. Find the "debug mode" link in the "Team MediaPortal" folder in your start menu and start it.
    2. Select option 3 "export all currently present logs".
    3. Click "proceed" - this will create a zip file on your desktop.
    4. Post the zip file here (instructions are in the watchdog link if you need them).

    mm
    :)
