If someone still uses Mediaportal 0.2.3.0, you can use this receiver by adding the content of the attached file to the file CaptureCardDefinitions.xml in your installation folder.

Any news on this? I am thinking of a USB DVB-C tuner in combination with cardsharing and want to know if this is a good tuner for this. Or can someone recommend me somthing else? I want to use this in a Asrock ION 330HT.

    Hi,

just read your reply. I have just recently set up MP 1.1.0 RC2 on my Asrock Ion 330HT under Windows 7 with this terratec usb stick and DVB-C works fine. MP did find all the cards instantly (DVB-T, analog and DVB-C) and showed the as 3 different cards in the setup.

    Hi Dale16,

I've also already bought 2 of those tuners with the ION 330 HT. Also Win7 32bit and MP 1.1.0 RC2. Works like a charm.

When I put my ION 330 HT in standby it will get a blue screen within a few minutes when I resume it again. I don't mind, because I don't use standby anyway. But I'm not sure if my tuners are causing this or that it is some other hardware/drivers in my htpc.

I have Terratec Cinergy HTC USB XS, on Terratec Home Cinema and DVBViewer the channel switch on same transponder is 1.5sec, and on different transponder is 3-5 seconds.
    On analog is fast, <1second.

I do not like 3-5 seconds on channel switch.....

I think you have that problem with every DVBC tuner. Analog is much faster then digital.
