AW: TeVii S480 Dual DVB-S2 HDTV PCIe supported?

I know, that's we gonna do: order TBS 6981 for 104€, drive 230km on friday, yank Tevii S480 out and send it back for a new v2.1 which I will install in my HTPC later. Put TBS in and hope that it'll solve all my problems. Drive 230km home on sunday which will give me an additional hour (end of 'summertime') ;)

I did some tests on that card yesterday, looks like those pesky timing-problem struck me too, one tuner sometimes isn't recognized after S3 and initial tuning takes ~30sec. I'm done with this POY.

    Hi everyone

Since I'm using FTR's Argus, I don't think that an issue related to TV Server or Argus but purely bad hardware design or crappy driver.
BSODs generally indicate hardware or driver issues, but they can be triggered by software doing things in specific ways that the drivers don't like.

Somehow you should be able to see what version of the card you have. It seems that with 1.x there are many problems. I bought mine from dvbshop.net and gonna return to get a new 2.1 version.
I have a version 2.0. It looks quite similar to version 2.1 - just lower quality capacitors I think. Works fine.

I understand that you are frustrated, however blaming the hardware is not always correct - you could have bad settings. In future it would help if you would post logs so that other people can see what is going on and try to help.
