Text presentation missing pictures (1 Viewer)

I'm not a big fan of the "normal" banner view, I think it's difficult to get a good overview, so I'd like to use the text presentation instead of graphical for the main tv series screen.
It seems to work fine, however, there are no pictures for any tv shows, so I have a big ugly "no picture" box to the left of the screen... is this normal or am I missing something in the setup that makes my tv series download these pictures?

If this isn't an option, is it possible to limit the number of columns for banners? I'd prefer 1, maybe 2 instead of the 3 I have (I have a Widescreen 720p display)?

Not entirely sure what you mean, but the reason you may not see pictures could be because of the skin you are using. TVSeries support both Wide Banners and Posters in Text Layouts for series. Here is an example of Series Posters used in Text Layout using the StreamedMP skin.

To get these types of views you need to toggle 'Enable Download Posters instead of wide banners' as well set Series View to *Text* from Graphical.

Note: the screenshots are taken from the latest svn of both TVSeries/StreamedMP.

Yeah, it's somehow difficult to explain, I'm using Monochrome "standard". The screens you posted is more or less how I'd like to have my tv series to look and act. I'll have a look for the "posters instead of banners option" as soon as I get home..

hmm.. I've looked in both Online Data Sync & Display control, can't seem to find this particular option?? I'm using 2.0.765

Excuse my "dumbness" but can anyone explain the numbering? I thought I had the latest version being 2.0.765 but it sounds like I don't?

Basically you have the last stable release v2.0 (im not sure where the .765 came from back then). The next stable will be v2.1.XXX, currently this is still in test phase with no more enhancements going to be implemented. The Build number in version gets incremented daily, so if I was to do a build today the build would be 2.0.3280 as opposed to yesterdays build of 2.0.3279.

When the SVN test release is considered to be stable (just a few more bugs I want to take care of first), the version will be incremented to v2.1

I've dowlnoaded the latest SVN, enabled the tick box to download posters instead of banners. I can see in the MPTV Config that MPTV Series has downloaded the posters, but I still get a "No Season image Found". I have selected Text presentation and everything looks okay to me...

I've attached 3 screenshots of the configuration screens and a screenshot of how things look in MP...

BTW - This is a 100% new and clean installation made this morning, so there shouldn't be any ghosts hiding anywhere from previous installations

I'm pretty sure Monochrome\Indigo only support a Graphical layout for Series View, you will need this to be raised in corresponding forums. If you want to use the Posters set Series to Graphical and you will get a FilmStrip view instead.
