The simpson season 20 problem (1 Viewer)

Hi there;

I have a problem with the Simpson series.

MyTVSeries works OK with seasons from 01 to 19, but it fails to parse season 20 and it's named exactly like the others so it's not a name problem or expression. The season do exist in the online database so I don't know why it is not working.

Any ideas?.

Default parsing expression should have no problem with seasons from 0 - 9999. Try reset your parsing expressions to get the very latest.

Mmmm, is it possible to delete the database so it have to re-parse the full series again?

had once added the battlestar galactica 80's series
and for some reason it always picked the 2004 series for it.

so to correct this, when in mytvseries-config
choose the lefttab
then you see all your series.
move to the serie of season and leftklick that (to make sure u pick the right one)
then rightclick it and select the delete option
then you will get the option window to remove from database (there will be 3 option, choose the right one)

once it is removed.
i always close down the config, and re-open it
and let the updater run it's course
it will detect the 'not correct' ones, which you can manually add or correct as needed
then continue the parsing...
should work fine after that.

It should be parsing season 20 fine, I have all 22 seasons of the simpsons, and the parsing has picked them up absolutely fine all the way through, maybe you have messed with the parsing expressions.

No, the expressions were right, I don't know what the problem was, but I deleted the data base as r3p00 suggested and now everything is working as espected.

Hi joie,

see at thetvdb.com. Remember that English and Spanish information for each serie and season are separate. Good function for one language don't mean the same for another language.

Edit: Lamento... I'm sorry, I see at thetvdb.com just now and there aren't any information about The Simpsons in Spanish. So the problem will be probably other. Which language you have set in the plugin?

The language is spanish, but the info in the parser is in english, no problem with that. Now the problem is fixed and the only thing I did was to delete the series and reimport it.
