Thumbnail creation not working (1 Viewer)

The priority is already lowest. Did you leave thumb quality at default?
Opening of Plugins in general has a flaw (I guess when at least one share is on a network path) - opening Music or Videos might be slow as well.

I'll increase the time between each thumb is created even more to see if that helps.

I've added further optimizations:
- the database is reused for getting the correct thumb orientation
- some wait times for file operations
- some time consuming operations removed

Of course opening a 5MP photo takes some time but when I now delete all my thumbs (so they are recreated when entering the folder) and start e.g. a slideshow or movie I don't see any sluggish behaviour anymore.

Opening the plugins will be fixed soon.

Opening of the file itself using only .NET might not be improved many more But for slideshows MP preloads - so you'll see sluggish transistions if the problem didn't improve.

I forgot to say that i'm using thumbs at highest quality, because i'm using 40" LCD TV (1360x768) and pictures quality are from 5 to 10Mpix (mainly 10Mpix, because my camera uses that res). I suggest you to take a look at this thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ation-t26289.html?t=26289&highlight=thumbnail may be it could be very interesting to add that code to MP. the thumbs creation process is really FAST...

Thx to ronilse and hwahrmann testing intensively I was just able to fix another part that caused slow downs. Please try the upcoming build and tell me how it works out for you.

Really good work RTV!! I works like a charm now.... now, the only minor problem is slow creation of thumbnails and sorting by date (it should use the EXIF date); other than this My pictures is working now perfectly. I'll report if i find another bug in this area...
