MP2 - V2.4.1 Timeshift GUI and usability like MP1 possible? (1 Viewer)

    I'm not using Live-TV, so never tried time shifting. I just tried it and it was not possible here. Does it really work for you? I'm using IPTV, maybe that's a difference. Also I think MP2 could not show the shifted time by another color.
    I think it must have been years before when I looked at this part. IIRC at this time it was not possible to get the needed information in all cases from underlying stream. But I might be wrong, it's long time ago.

    Besides this, we don't have a ready-to-use multipart OSD progress control which can show the different positions (live position, buffered position, total buffer length)

    As the TVEngine is same, is it not possible to take over some MP1 code pieces here or is it fully player dependent?

    So far not, this could be achieved. But at first the infos need to be existing.
