Timeshift ... (1 Viewer)

Hello there!

Is it possible to restart timeshifting everytime I change the channel? Now, when I switch to another channel and press rewind, I get the data from the previous channel too. But I only want timeshift for the actual channel.

p.s.: When I press the Skip-Buttons on my Harmony900, nothing happens. I use the MediaCenter-SE profile.

If I understand you correctly, you want the timeshift buffer to be cleared when you change channel, with the effect that rewinding would not show any of the previous channels that you've been viewing. Is that correct?

If I'm right then I think you should add an improvement suggestion. Some people like the current behaviour whereas other people such as yourself may prefer the change that you've proposed. We can't have both behaviours without adding an option...

Regarding your Harmony900 remote issue: have you set up the key mappings in MediaPortal configuration?

Thx for answer. Yes, that's exactly what I want. So I will do this improvement suggestion.
And no, I did'nt map any keys for my Harmony. I just set remote control to MCE.
