Timeshifting - How to watch from the start? (1 Viewer)

Hello Everybody

I just thought of a situation. I am sure MediaPortal can handle it, but I don't know how to do it.
So, I was hoping some kind person could help me out with this simple question.

If I schedule a TV recording (like a soccer match) and get home while the game is still on. I would like to see the whole game, from the start, but I want MediaPortal to continue recording while I watch from the beginning.
Am I right in assuming MediaPortal can handle this? And if so, how do I actually get it to show me the game from the start?

Hi Simon

Yep, MP can do that!
Just go to "recorded TV" and find the recording that you want to watch. Click (or press okay) to start viewing the recording and MP will give you the choice to watch from the beginning or from the "live" point. To do what you want, select to watch from the beginning. While watching it you can still use timeshifting to skip any ads or boring bits and catch up with the live point...
