    Hi
Ive got a bug on Titan I believe. So Im running version V1.3.0.265 on MP 1.3 on Windows 8 as a TV Client.

Ive installed Titan on two machines, one of which is fine.

The other, whilst it says it has Titan installed when you look at the config, or the splash screen, appears to revert to default wide. Ive included a screen shot, but the way I tell this is on the home page there are no large buttons for TV etc but rather just the letters. Ive uninstalled, reinstalled Titan, pulled the upgrade patch of this forum and it stays the same.

I looked in the MP error log and I saw it whinging about id missing for lblDate ad lblTime.

Ive enclosed the error logs and the home screen shot

    TIA

I dont know this system that well, so it may be Ive missed something obvious......amazing piece of work BTW...

@Rob Thomson - This is a screenshot of titan in the normal home screen (no big buttons). Titan has 2 different homescreens (normal home and basic home). To switch between the home screens you can press the H button (Assuming you have both enabled). You can change which home screens are enabled / used under settings.

Ok i've been thinking, Rather disapointed in how often updates are released. Is there a way the titan skin devs will allow the community to submit fixes which can be voted on then added to an update submited by the community, Or even have options to select which fixes to update (so all changes are revesible).

Great skin (y) but lack of smiple fixes is fustrating.

Even though titan extended has not had a recent update, there have been a lot of changes in the Titan skin core that came with MP 1.3 Final. Changes / enhancements to the MP 1.3 / MP 1.4 skin engine has also meant additional work for skin designers. Given that Titan is an official MP default skin, I'd imagine that the titan skin core is the main focus to get 100% right. You have to remember that the Titan team is only 2-3 people who work on Titan in their spare time, so things like work, family, holidays and other interests can all get in the way.

    In the interim:
    • You can contribute to the Community theme mods, or the Titan extended thread with any skins/mods.

    • You can visit the unofficial skins collection or the community themes thread to download unsupported skins/mods.

    • Titan team have already stated that they may use contributions to the titan extended thread (this thread) as starting points for official skin files.

    • As this is an official MediaPortal skin, there is a much higher standard which unfortunately means longer waiting times.

I think we need a single place to collect unofficial skins. Here it is.

Great skin (y) but lack of simple fixes is fustrating.

Having the titan team set up a seperate community repository with a voting system and then reviewing all the community mods would take a lot of time.

    However,

You are welcome to create and publish and maintain your own theme with a collection of fixes and skin files from the community. I imagine this wouldn't create much work, and you could use a simple .bat file using environmental variables (%appdata%) to install the skin.
