Titan - Extended (7 Viewers)

Guys,

Just switched from StreamedMP to Titan Extended and absolutely loving it!! So I had a couple quick questions. Not sure if they have already been asked/answered; didn't find anything upon a quick search.

In StreamedMP, I was able to put "Trailers", which was basically the iTunes/Apple Trailers, and "WebVideos" which had some other services like YouTube, IMDB Trailers, etc., all from the OnlineVideos plugin - STRAIGHT on to the main screen menu. Right alongside the TV, Series, Movies, etc. Is there anyway to do something similar with Titan Extended? I don't really see a place where I can change or add items on the main menu screen.

Hey Everyone,

I am sure this has already been addressed but for the life of me I can't find it, so here goes.

I have installed Titan Extended, but I can't see anywhere that I can use it, the only option in the skin list is just Titan, no Titan Extended.

I can see all the other installed skins in the list except for Titan Extended.

Of all the skins I have installed I much prefer Titan, but really want to try the extended version.

Titan Extended adds additional function directly to your Titan folder, you won't see a name change. If you have installed with the Titan Extended option, then it will already be in you Titan skin.

@Samantha titan extended is just an additional file packet for supporting most used plugins with titan...just select titan as skin

Hi,as far as I can tell Titan Extended isn't a skin as such,"....This is a MediaPortal Extension which adds support for many community plugins, as well as a 'Titan Skin Updater' plugin. Titan Skin Updater enables us to easily provide you with updates to the Titan skin - including bug fixes and support for new plugins - over the coming weeks and months."

Hey Everyone,

Thanks so much for the quick and prompt replies, that clears things up nicely for me now, lol.

The main reason I was asking is the Radio Button does nothing, I can click on it but nothing happens, (I have Pandora set as the site for music) then the Downloaded Videos Button doesn't find the .flv files I have already DL from YouTube, (I have set the folder location), and when I try to see if maybe it has to DL thru MP before it will find them I connect with YouTube ok, but there is no option I can find to search for what I want, it seems there are only predefined lists of videos I can view, (this seems quite useless to me).

I was just thinking maybe the Extended was more than what I was already seeing, lol...

BTW, I don't have the hardware to use the TV option yet, but watching DVD movies is WONDERFUL, we are in the process of copying our entire DVD collection to a HD as .ISO files, (only about 1/3 thru the 250+ collection thus far), but it works like a top.

The fact that the system found that the multi Disc DVD Sets we have copied to the HD and auto nested them under the Set heading is Awesome, but is there a way to number the sub menu disks?

We also put a CD full of pictures we took while running an 18 wheeler cross country a few years back, and it was great to watch the slide show, but then i got the idea to put a music CD in the other drive and BANG, we were watching the slide show while listening to some trucking music, it was SUPER GREAT...and right now we are just using the VGA cable to connect to our new HD Widescreen.

Oh while I am at it, one suggestion/request would be to make it so I can select more than 1 drive at a time to fill the Movie list, versus having to select different drives to move thru the entire collection, (It took me some time to figure out how to use it and for others that will be using this setup, I feel it will be rather hard for them to get the hang of it).

So far the work that has been put into this skin deserves MUCH Credit and Thanks, Job Well Done.

I too am looking forward to the editor coming online.

Try adding a folder named "Favorites" to your OnlineVideos download folder and moving your .flv and any .jpg (thumbnail) files to it. They should then show up in the Downloaded Files section after you enter OnlineVideos. Any new videos you download should create a subfolder, or use an existing subfolder. To have videos saved to the Favorites folder, you can "build" a favorites list to download (add to favorites) using the info button, then at your convenience (overnight?) you can then go to the Favorites option (above Downloaded Files) and start the downloads from there.

If you are using MyVideos to catalog the movies, you can select the 2 or more folders in the database section of setup to add the movies to the video database at the same time, if you are using shares in MP, you will get the separate folders to choose from, in other catagories (view by) you will get the database view of all the movies added.

MovingPicturtes is similar, but is database oriented only, you can set up the 2 or more drives for the database to collect from in the plugin config.

In either case, it may take some time to scan the movie titles... MovingPictures will do this in the background if you want.
