    Who was the magic coder?
The magic coder was some time ago a user named Baboonanza :) he make quite few extensions to the skin engine. Unfortunately he is no longer with us...

Here the commit with the AutoFocusing feature:
    https://github.com/MediaPortal/MediaPortal-2/commit/f0da0f91a0737a31b968af0fb08e67b1f551d0d4
It was nearly 5 years ago!
ge2301 contacted me, if I could help him with few skin features. One of them was AutoFocusing, during my searching/debugging I found that this is already implemented and its waiting for the right desinger :)

Keep up the great work ge2301!

    • Side marginssame as for other screens --> More visibility of background image
    • GroupMenu
      • New button style, selected can be seen easily
      • Position changed to distingulish clearly from MainMenuTiles
Screenshots in fisrt post updated accordingly..

    Good work ge2301[emoji106]

This skin could be my move to MP2. I like the design of Titan.

But I think the top bar on the home screen is too much. Maybe it is possible to remove the top bar and let the navigation be like in Titan for MP1?

Nevertheless keep on working on this [emoji4] I like it[emoji7]

I also agree, this looks like the best looking skin so far for MP2. But the top bar became too much with the latest update. For me it would be nicer looking with less focus on it.

Yes that's the same thinking like me.
But i think thats not possible, cause the structure are from the BlueVision Skin.

Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

With regard to eliminating the GroupMenus I must disappoint you I think. Everything is created around the GroupMenu and this is the biggest advantage from my point of view.
What I dislike most in Titanius for MP1 are
    • The candyshop background picture
    • The MainMenu, in which you are scrolling without knowing where you are
There are many new buttons in MP2. Without grouping them you can not keep an overview.

With regard of design of the GroupMenu I'm open for proposals. I made also several mock-ups for myself to see which style looks best. Current one is my favourite :)
But there might be better ideas ;)

Too bad. But I understand you. It is just a theme for a skin. The overall structure should be the same.

the top bar doesn't suit that good into the titan design. But that's only my opinion. But I don't know, how it could fitted better in their :/

Maybe you can show your other mockups here.
