Hi Marcel. Has there been any changes between 1.6 and 1.7 that might affect the skin or is it good to install? (noticed most of the plugins now have official or unofficial versions now)

I'm running MP 1.7.0 PR since today on my main HTPC and it's working even beter than 1.6.0. I had only some issues opening a dialogmenu wich was taking a really long time to open the first time with MP 1.7.0 on my testmachine but that had something todo with the mod from pog called onX that is included in TITANIUS, but on my mainmachine I dont't have this issue! @Pog

Hey powermarcel can you try 2 things on your test setup?

First: copy all your skin files from your main machine, see if that works.

Second: copy the language folder from main to test, see if that works.

I'm thinking something may have gotten corrupted on your test machine.

Thanks Pog, will try that tomorrow.. Strange thing as I reported above is indeed that I don't have this issue on my main machine..

I did a fresh install of MP 1.7.0 recently on my testmachine so I don't suspect any database corrupted files, but let's find out!

Thank you powermarcel10 for the basichome rss feed changes and your many other wonderful enhancements to this skin. It's really put a polish on my htpc and appears to get the "wife friendly" seal of approval. I wondered if a future possible enhancement would be the ability to change/select the font used and/or font size? I'd like to increase the font size of the menu items in the basichome screen as at 1080p they come across smaller than my tired eyes would prefer. I guess I'm odd man out as I prefer the vertical menu structure as opposed to the horizontal that everyone else seems to like.

Thanks! Only way to do this yourself is editing the fonts.xml file in your skinfolder.. (C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\TITANIUS)

You need to increase the <height>11</height> value

Hello guys,

Good news and bad news...

You will find a new version of TITANIUS HERE that is ONLY fully compatible with MediaPortal 1.7.0.

It will work on MP 1.6.0 Final aswell, but some things will not work properly such as some submenus and some labels that are missing in MovingPictures as the new MP version and some plugins made a lot of changes for MP 1.7.0. Pre Release.

I don't want to maintain 2 different versions of the skin for different MP versions.. I will try always to make a fully comptaible version for the latest stable release of MediaPortal as it should wich can be downloaded in our repo or using the MediaPortal Extensions Installer.. If you are still using MP 1.6.0, stay to the current version of TITANIUS, or try this one at your own risk.. Are you running MP 1.7.0 Pre Release? Than check it out and report if everything works as it should! In that case I will release this version including some possible fixes to our repo when MP 1.7.0 Final has been released..

I only found one minor issue and it's more cosmetic than anything...I have "united states" set as the language but the date up top is displaying as "Sunday 2.March" (UK format?) where US format would normally be along the lines of Sunday March 2. (and usually CCYY) ...that's on the basichome screen so not sure if it's on other.....the basichome screen by the way looks fantastic!

Thanks for this great update! Keep up the good work!

I found an issue with my request for the sliding in/out cd on the now playing screen. When the music is paused, the cd is sliding in perfectly (nice!). But when I unpause it will just pop out. So no sliding out animation. Could you fix tis? Thanks!!
