Can someone help as Im totally lost as how to install the ZIP files from this post:

Ive got 1.3.0 installed from the MPEI OK, however the ZIP file for 1.3.1 just contains 2 folders:
Installer{CopyFile}
and
Installer{Font}

The XML file suggests its to be run by an installer .... but what? Cant find any specific instructions anywhere....

Can you try renaming the ZIP into MPEI and Execute it? It looks like this should be installed with the Extension Manager. (but i haven´t tried it)

I unzipped the latest 1.3.1.1file and got 3 Folders,
1. MediaPortalExtension (xml File)
2. Installer(copy File)
3. Font(Copy File)
How and where do you rename which zip files into MPEI.
"thekiwi" says he got it, however I tried everything and still no go on installation.

Don't unzip the file.. literally rename the whole zip file you download from the forum post. Also I thought the installer extension was 'mpe1' not 'mpei'. Soon as you name it whatever.mpe1 Windows will recognise the filetype and start the installation whenyou run the file.

This sounds like the well known error of the Microsoft Browser It downloads MPEI as ZIP

Don´t think so. It looks like it was uploaded as ZIP by @powermarcel10

Yeah I downloaded it with either Firefox or Chrome and it came down as a zip. Works fine after renaming though - did a fresh install of my client Saturday.
