ive tried that what u said and opened the moving pictures config and go to movie importer. after 30mins it detects new movies and was searching it automatically and found the correct movie from the web, but it dont download media informations automatically... it waiting for approve... but ive all settings on auto. :-/

Only the primary scraper can auto-approve movies (unless you changed the default advanced settings that control this behaviour). So if you are a non-English user that relies on a different scraper then imdb.com, then you have to make sure your scraper is in the first position (unless you are on auto).

If things still fail for you after that, it is going to be time you provide full detailed log files that capture the problem you are having when it happens. If the log files do not contain the problem, then it is not going to be possible to find cause. Log files come in many flavors, by default log files are in normal mode, and they will not be good enough, so switch to debug logging mode. If the problem ends up being caused by a bad scraper, then you have to re-run the scenario with scraper-debug-mode enabled.

ah thx this is a really helpful information yes im a german user and changed the option to automatic german database, or how it call this option. i will manually change it now and set ofdb to the top. i will report tomorrow if its working.

last question, im not totally clear about it, because im reading different statements about it. does the auto import only works on the configuration window or will it add movies automatically if ive started mediaportal, too?

This happens when you are inside the configuration screen (either direct or via MediaPortal configuration), and of course once MediaPortal GUI is running and it has started the plugins in the background. So even if you are watching a TV show in MP-TVSeries plugin, the MovingPictures plugin will pickup new movies, added to the import folders it monitors, in the background.

how do u mean it have to run? its enough if its enabled on plugins and run then media portal? or ive to go to moving pictures inside media portal? thx for ur help its really helpfull
