Hi,
I have cable-tv and the signal quality and signal strength are not optimal. So I have a lot of discontinuities in my ts-files. The problem I have with this is that when I skip forward (watching delayed live tv) the skips are incorrect and thus unusable.
For now I'm looking for a way to work around this (enhancing signal quality might be too expensive for me right now). If I transcode the ts-files with ffmpeg the discontinuities are gone so my question is whether it's possible to have a batch file start ffmpeg right at the start of the recording and update the database to point to the new (begin on the fly transcoded) file. So that when I playback the recording, the on the fly transcoded file is being played back.
Thanks.
