    Hi again Brian

Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should do about the T-SVN errors I am getting?
Did you close the original SVN checkout window before attempting to do the SVN update?

I think that file (CrashLoggerBase.cs) belongs to MP2.
It is true that there is a CrashLoggerBase.cs in MP2, but I think you must have screwed something up somewhere because there is also a crash logger base *within* IRSS. The path is \IR Server Suite\Common\IrssUtils\MediaPortal.Core\Services\Logging (URL is https://mp-plugins.svn.sourceforge..../IrssUtils/MediaPortal.Core/Services/Logging/). If you navigate to that folder and you don't have that file then you have somehow messed up the checkout process for IRSS. How did you check out IRSS if you didn't have TortoiseSVN at the time? To be extremely clear, when checking out IRSS, you need to check out this URL:

    https://mp-plugins.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mp-plugins/trunk/plugins/IR Server Suite/

Aha! I see that now. I downloaded my copy as a tar from SourceForge. Some of the file names have been truncated for some reason.

As for the T-SVN problem, yes... I closed the window before trying to update.

I would still like to get the source the correct way (not a zip, rar, or tar ball). Maybe my copy of T-SVN has a problem? Where do you recommend to download T-SVN binaries?

I would bet there is no problem with your copy of Tortoise SVN, although even with your screenshots I can't see that you're doing anything wrong. I note that I'm using the 1.6.10.19898 version (svn 1.6.12) which is a little outdated now, but it works fine. Just hold fire for a moment and I'll do a checkout of TV Server myself and see exactly what I do when the checkout stalls.

    Hi again Brian

Well I've checked out both MP and TV Server now without a single stall. I'm running late to work so I'm sorry but I just can't spend any more time working this out now. As I said before though, SVN update should restart the checkout.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance... :sorry:

Are you trying to check out the source from the team-mediaportal site, or from SourceForge? I have no problem getting the source from SourceForge. I'm downloading IRSS now. Let's all pray...

Our team SVN server, but a different one to the one you'd be using. I'll try the public server when I get home if necessary...

    Hi again Brian

Just thought I'd pop back and ask how you're getting on with IRSS...

Thanks for checking in. I've been very busy with work and other stuff and have not had time to do anything with IRSS. I was never able to download the source from the team-mediaportal site, but I got it from Source Forge. I haven't forgotten about IRSS as I really need to get this functionality working, so I will be back soon.
