Trouble enabling the tv server client (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I tried to install the TV server client today on my HTPC, but whenever I enable it, configure it and close MP Config my settings are lost in space.. If I go into MP Config again the plugin is disabled.. I have installed the latest SVN of MP and I downloaded the latest for the TV Server as well, and funnily enough I can do it on the TV Server, but not on my client.

How can I trouble shoot this? Where can I find info on what's enabled, settings etc?

Here's a brute force suggestion. Uninstall everything related to media portal (TVserver, mediaportal and the tv plugin) and remove all the media portal directories. Install and configure again according to the wiki.

Ok, hehe didn't want to use your brute force suggestion, especially since I've just reinstalled my whole HTPC two days ago!

I'm pretty sure something went wrong the first time I configured the plugin, so I just took a fresh Mediaportal.xml and overwrite the one on my HTPC, and things work fine again. Just had to reconfigure some old stuff, but nothing major.

So, problem solved! :-D
