Hi Benjamin I was going to say that the logs for successful and unsuccessful descrambling show the same "Problem: message length" messages. The commands sent to the tuner/CAM are identical so something else is the cause of the problems. That is a good test. Are you also able to test what happens if you preload the tuner and then wait for 15 seconds (or 30 or 45 seconds, etc.) whether descrambling works? The goal of that test would be to see whether the problem is that a delay is required or whether retries are required. No, not at the moment. I have already considered adding those settings because other hardware handlers like TechnoTrend have them build in (unavailable for changing in TV Server configuration). Unfortunately this really has to wait until I have finished refactoring for all the other tuners (Hauppauge, TechnoTrend etc.) and merged all the work, otherwise it is just too hard to maintain. I have been refactoring for one brand at a time and I'm almost ready to merge - only have Prof and the WinTV CI to do. Hopefully the wait won't be too long. :) mm
