About to have a crack at the above method, but am unfamiliar with most of what is involved. Thanks for whoever posted it up though.

Would be great to have a more user friendly way to do it in the future, would add to what is already an awesome plug-in.

I'm not asking for it out of laziness - ie not being bothered uploading to the online database. I love AMA motocross, but as you all know, they don't include sports. I've got four complete seasons that I regularly go back and watch, but at the moment they're just listed in black and white text with no background.

Hi!

Are there any news about adding you own pictures in My TVseries (behind the scenes so to speak)?

I have a LOT of DVD extras, and those are not allowed in thetvdb (I understand that), but I like to have them and would like to be able to add pictures in a more easy way (maybe the same way as adding missing Cover Art in Moving Pictures, Configuration Menu Movie Manager - Moving Pictures).

I also make own movies, eg from vacations. Those I make into "episodes", so its easy to find "the time we found that frog" (or something). Those need pictures also (banners, season & episode).

I also study from distance, and I record all lectures on my PC --> into TV-series. Those need pictures also (banners, season & episode).

Sports, those are not allowed in thetvdb. But I would like to have them in my TV series collection (banners, season & episode).

PS. If you also want this feature, vote (click on star) here: Issue 151 - mptvseries - Manual import of posters and banners - Project Hosting on Google Code

    Its a legitemite usecase.

Btw, where does it say that DVD-Extras arent allowed? I thought most just weren't added, I didnt know they werent allowed.

Well, all of these fall well outside the scope of the plugin, if it works for you thats great, but I'm sure you understand we won't design features around such use cases.

Great that you found related links, but please avoid using obnoxious fontsizes.

This will probably get added sooner or later, its just a matter of someone finding the time to do it. For devs it seems rather low priority or it would have been done already :) Patches welcome of course.

    DVD Extras:
DVD Extras are not allowed. Do not add cast interviews, behind the scenes footage or an actor making pancakes before s/he heads off to the shoot. They are simply useless and have no business in the database

OK, but if it works, I'm not sad :p And I do not agree with your view about Web Series, Sports and WWE, UFC, NFL, NBA, etc (http://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4076) (sorry, no disrespect, but I dont have same opinion  ), they should be allowed, at least locally, and I think more than me want them (at least locally). Sorry, for being a sports geek :D ...

    Sorry, fixed that...

    Good to know! :D
