tsreader freezes when changing audio to AC3 (ts recording attached) (1 Viewer)

Hi!

Today were a movie broadcasted were i wasn't able to switch to AC3 audio. Other shows worked fine with AC3. I didn't know where the difference is.

Tested with actual SVN: 24782

Please keep in mind to switch especially to the second AC3 audio track.

Tested with: W7 64bit/EVR MP SVN 24786 - ffdshow

Just to confirm that it happens on different PCs. As many times such could be caused by codec etc. issues.

Yeah hangs here too with W7 32bit/EVR MP SVN 24786

Despite the fact PAT says there is AC3, there are no AC3 ( PID 0x41 ) packets in the stream .
...I could suppose it's a scrambled channel partially unscrambled by the CAM....

Yes it is a non FTA channel - but all other channels (same provider) are working fine also with AC3.

Could a rescan or something like that fix this? Or any idea how this could happen? But at least tsreader should not freeze a minimum of an error message like cannot change audio stream would be nice

I think it's provider or CAM related....

Here, it's not freezing or hanging , it parse the file until end looking for audio samples and stops.

Mhm the strange thing is. The provider is broadcasting 7 cinema channels. All with MPEG2 and AC3. It is ONLY one channel where AC3 is not working. But all are decoded with the same keys.

Could you confirm this? For me it hangs until i kill MP.
