I, like many others it seems, am trying to get my TechnoTrend S2-3200 (with CI) to work using multiple LNBs via a diseqc switch. Now I know this has been posted before and believe me I've trawled through hundreds (it seems) of posts about this subject... but I remain confused.

Some posts state that Diseqc support is not possible with the Technotrend card, saying that Diseqc via BDA is not supported by MP: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/support-97/no-signal-tt-connect-s2-3600-monoblock-lnb-34371/

In another pos, Chissooo says he's got Diseqc working with the same card as mine (I think I translated from German correctly): https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/hardware-174/neuer-bda-treiber-tt-34477/

I'm confused!!!

Can anyone pls tell me if there is anyway I can get MP to switch between 2 LNB's using my TT S2-3200.

So far I have tried:
1. v5.0.0.12 BDA Drivers
2. v5.0.0.6 BDA Drivers
3. v5.0.0.12 BDA Drivers Mapping to DVB-T using MCE_Tools_102Beta (as shown here troubleshooting-workarounds/tt s1500 diseqc issue - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation )
4. v4.4.1.18 BDA Drivers Mapping to DVB-T using and older version of MCE_Tools

I have scanned both LNB's in DVBViewer, so I know the setup is right.

chrissooo, if you read this can you please tell me how you got your card working with Diseqc - what SVN you're using, what driver version, exact TV3 scan settings for the card, etc. I would be eternally grateful.

I also have a 22KHz switch (one input has power pass-through, the other is triggered by a 22KHz tone. Can I use this to switch between LNB's instead of a Diseqc switch?

Thanks guys

5.0.0.12 BDA drivers work on S2-3200 with TV Server. 5.0.0.6 doesn't so don't try them. Haven't tried the latest SVNs on that card but they should work. I last exprimented SVN three weeks ago and diseqc works there. Just EVR is something that causes trouble (may be only that computer) but VMR9 builds graphs pretty quick with 4 LNBs.

You may also have situation where your disecq isn't compatible with S2-3200. Make sure technotrends own application finds and actually switches channels (not just scanning) before trying to get TV Server working.

Just a side note, you may want to try something else than cyberlink audio codec (MPA or DScaler) in case you can scan but not view the channels. On many systems, certain revisions of PowerDVD codecs cause black screen on Mediaportals TV.
