Turn off visualization Transision in Mymusic? (1 Viewer)

On my MP it's not switching, it just shows the album cover!
I'm using 0.1.3.0 with CVS from 25/8 and I set MP to get the covers from mp3s when not in database.

Do you use "directshow" or "windows mediaplayer 9" as your internal music player in /setup/music ?
Where do you select to get covers from mp3s when not in database?

In Music->GeneralSettings I have checked the box 'Load ID3 tag...' and I have selected WMP9 as Internal Music Player.
I have also uploaded all mp3s in music database from setup.
All my mp3s are ripped from my original cds and each file contains the cover in the tag (plus other info )

Yes i found the settings for ID3 tag, thanks for that, but i dont understand why you dont get the coverart/wmp9 effects switching despite you have choosen wmp9 as the internal player?, hmmm maybe because the newer CVS build? I have never tried to update the CVS because i dont know how to do it maybe i should give that a try someday. I found it very annoying to have the cover art switching the whole time, This function should be something to be able to switch off.

To be honest... I am not able to tell you :roll:
I can remember that I had the same issue with some old releases of MP. Then I tried to use some nice visualizations, but I realized that inside MP they were played very slow, don't know why, but really unwatchable
Finally I decided to swith to 'null' and to leave the album cover.

Hi sajberman,
I have finally found the reason... I have completely forgotten that I have switched on the Winamp plugin!!!
I have turned it off and the visualization is switching again
Try to switch on this plugin, of course if you have Winamp installed (I have an old version which is freeware) and see what happens.

Many thanks *** archimede*** ...why didnt i think of winamp? That plugin works great, just like i want it. now its time to go further and configure my TV card Thanks for all help !
