I´m not familiar with it, but maybe WMC is bloking the card.
By the Way, which version are you using?

Thanks Schicksal, porky996t for your support.

Hello again, mm,

that is what I supposed before, as everything works fine with other SW (DVB dream and MS Windows MC) and even better quality after I improved TV signal quality from LNB side.

This afternoon I will try your new idea and disable the EPG grabber.
I need to get this program running completely....!

Thanks,

cheers,

Ah, another idea, Thanks!... but with DVB dream it works as well, in brilliant quality.
For MP it is version 1.2.3? Sorry, not sure, as I am in the office right now, I cannot check.
Actually, it is the latest version that can be downloaded.

For WMC I need to check.

Anyway, I will follow this idea and mm's approach this afternoon.

Hope it will work tomorrow ;-)

cheers,

Peter

Hello again

Is this the answer to my question?

If so, you are encountering a known issue with the EPG grabber prevening tuners from being used. I'm calling it TsWriter deadlock. You will need to restart your machine and disable the idle EPG grabber (in the DVB EPG section of TV Server configuration) in order for the tuner to start working again in MP.

[Edit: to be clear, there is nothing wrong with your tuner - this is a TV Server bug]

mm

Hi mm,

Thanks, you found it!

I should have tried that before, but was not aware that this EPG could have such a negative impact ;-)

Now it works, EPG should be OK from the web again.

Now I can continue to configure everything, overall TV quality is excellent with Selfsat and TBS 6981.
After having solved this issue, the media center is complete.

Have a nice weekend!

cheers,

Peter
