I installed (using the 1-click installation method) the 1.0 RC1 version of MediaPortal, and everything seems to work, except the TV part.

When I go into the TV Server configuration I can see that the TV-tuner card has been found. I then try to scan for channels (tried both cable and antenna, any of the sensitivity settings) - no channels are found.

I can't seem to get my head around this, the TV Tuner seems to work without a glitch when using the accompagning PVR software.

I've attached the log files, hope you guys can help me out.

Same Pbm: Card detected no channel found

Hi,
I have same pbm with my Pinnacle PCTV Hybride USB 310e on DBV-T.
I ve just tested the DVB-T part of the hybride 310e card.
More over I'm sure the installation is quiet correct because I also have on my system a Pinnacle PCIe Dual DVB-T 3010iX (more precisally dual hybride) card and both tuners have been detected, channels tunned and watching TV on MyTV was Ok (TimeShifting on one tuner recording on second one)

So I also tried to map channels found with the 3010iX to the 310e one but it did not make the tuner work.
Afterwars I also tried to make tests using "manual Control" of TV Server App, first disabling 3010iX both tuners to be sure to handle correct card. The test generates error message box "Unable to create/start graph"

I join logs of TV Server and logs of Media Portal (the one named MediaPortalLogs_11_05_08_RawTests.zip has been done with numerous tests and generated graphs I hope will helps. Then I cleaned logs to make other ones but I did no succed any more to get graphs)

Of course the 310e hardware works fine as the software that come with it is able to use it correctly

Did you install DBA drivers for your card ? The issue is audio tuner filter missing/corrupt:

Hi Simone,

excuse my ignorance - but what is DBA?

I've just searched google, but can't seem to find any matches. The only acronym I know that would match DBA would be DataBase Administrator?

Please elaborate on what DBA is, and possible where I can find it (or if it is a utility that should have accompagnied my TV-tuner card from the very beginning).

DBA and WDM are two type of drivers, while the first is supported the second not. If you don't know about this technology, please post the link to the page with your TV-card drivers.

Please update your profile to show system specs.

so this is what I've found

The specs page for the TV card (my card variant is the model without the FM/Radio support - blue label):

it doesn't mention anything about any DBA-drivers, though....

Small update: Just updated the drivers to the most recent version available on their website. Didn't make any difference what so ever.
