I've got two machines; one win xp box with the tv card, one win2003 as client.

On the xp box with the tv card, clicking "channel" inside "My TV" in MP shows the full list of channels (6 broadcasters with a total of 23 subchannels).

I do understand that *if* I start MP on the server box first, then this first client will be the one to decide which broadcaster is streamed to other clients.

However, this report applies when I run MP on the client, having just rebooted the tv server box and *not* started MP there.

In this scenario, clicking "channel" in MyTV on the client only displays the subchannels available from the first broadcaster found when originally tuning in stations. I cant select any other broadcaster.

Is this working as designed? I surely hope not.

I have tried the very latest svn downloads. Any tips appreciated. Nothing in error.log file.

Try clicking groups and select "all channels". Default setting seems to be whatever is found first in the latest svn's.

Yeah, I've seen that. But I believe thats only a workaround, as if MP is run on the same machine as the server, the full list appears as expected. MP-team, is this logged? I couldnt find it in the buglist but may have missed it.

I would also say that there's a small visual issue in the "Channel" list when you have selected a particular group, as there is no visual indication (except for the indirect one; you discover that the channels displayed have the broadcaster in common) in the list that comes up of group filtering being active. MP-team, could there be an indication of [All...] or [Selected Group] at the top of the "Channel" list?
