I got some new TV-channels i my subscription, but some of the tv channels only show a frozen image with no sound (to be exact: a still frame of the running show). These channels seem to be on the same "tv-stream"/frequency. I know they are on the same tv-stream/frequency because of a list posted on a other forum (GoT).

I've done a rescan so it would update the channels, with no result.

The network settings should be right because I do receive that still frame.

    Anyone an idea?

Just tested, on my settopbox I can receive the channels fine. So it isnt a problem with the signal from the provider

    My log files:

During de debugmode the channels didn't freeze, but had no sound. I switched to another stream and then back again which resulted in the before mentioned freeze.

Made a cleaner log of the TV-server. The last one was a bit big.

I'm still having the same problem, channel freezes up when it starts. Just found out that the tv-stream (and info) is soemwhat received: I can rewind/fast foward the frozen channels. But picture is still frozen and has no sound.
It still happens that the channel is show, but without sound (picture is moving then). But this only happens 1 time after the TV-server is restarted.

The log is now when I start the TV-plugin, the chosen channel is Animal Planet (which is frozen) and then a channel switch to Discovery Science (which is frozen to).

    PS.

Reinstalled MP and TV-server, didn't make a change.

    Hi.

I had this problem sometime ago and the thing that fixed it for me was to change one of the decoders, try to change sound or video decoder. I think it was the sound decoder, but I'm not sure.

Wow, sometimes the solution to a problem is somewhere you would least expect it.
Changed audio decoder from ffdshow to ac3filter. Now the channels work.

Thank you Juppe for the great idea.

Funny that all the transponders except one worked with ffdshow audio decoder. Probably just some minor difference.
