I have a problem with my EPG grabbing of DVB-T channels. To work around this problem I scheduled a stop/start of the tv service. This solves the EPG issues nicely and had no secondary effects I could find.
But with release 1.0 I suddenly get a nice message box on the 24h on HTPC saying the conneciton was lost. Is this new? Can I get rid of it? Cause I really could care less
And secondly the tv client on this machine now all gets meessed up. No more guide and stuff like that. I have to restart the MP client to have it work again.
So this is a bad development for me, and I guess everyone will reboot the tv server once in a while. So my only workaround now is to stop/start mp also on the other machine after the tv server gets it.
I would love it to reestablish the conenction automaticly also and close the dialog when it does and rebuilds the view of the tv client.
I dont think any networked environment can quaranty that the tv server will be online all the time. And my users should not be bothered by any autages that happend in the past.
